Warning: 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors' and an associated website

8 July 2025

A website at 'https://marchandalliance.com', claiming to be for 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors' and misusing details of solicitors.

What is the scam?

A website at 'https://marchandalliance.com/' is operating, claiming to be for 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors' and falsely claiming to be SRA regulated. The website misuses the SRA number and some website content from a genuine firm of solicitors, and the name and/or details of genuine solicitors (see below).

The website provides an address in Paris, France as a 'Main Office' but which is shown on a map that appears on the website, as the London office of a genuine SRA-regulated firm. It also provides its telephone number as +33 744081135 (Corporate Office) and a contact email address of 'info@marchandalliance.com'.

The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm of solicitors called 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors'.

Any business or transaction through 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors', the website 'https://marchandalliance.com/' or the telephone number or email address above, is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

MB Law Limited has confirmed it has no connection to 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors' or the website referred to in the above alert.

  • Sadya Nawaz-Khan
  • Shamim Devji
  • Sharmila Ethirajalu
  • Sina Mahouzi
  • Rubina Chughtai

The respective solicitors have confirmed to the SRA that they have no connection to 'Marchand & Alliance Legal Solicitors' or the website referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?

When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
