A website with following domain 'https://qasimhusain.com/' is operating and misusing the name of a genuine solicitor.

What is the scam?

The SRA has been advised that a website with the following domain 'https://qasimhusain.com/'; is operating and misusing the details of a genuine solicitor Qasim Hussain (see below). The website purports to provide a service to help get money back from fraudulent trading companies and that they are experts in Recovering Funds from Fraudulent Forex and Binary Options Brokers.

The website provides phone number '+44 7366 524092'. It provides the email address 'support@qasimhusain.com'.

Any business or transaction through the website, email address or contact number above is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Qasim Hussain, whose genuine SRA ID number is 649806.

Qasim Hussain has confirmed that they do not have any connection to the email referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?

When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary.
